In my life experience as an ice cream eater, I have generally only come across the same kind of ice cream scoop for years with very little variety. Sometimes they may look a little different, but rarely do they stand out as unique.

Besides having a unique scoop design that gives me a perfect scoop of ice cream, the SCOOP looks really cool. That may not be a big deal in its own right, but it is a bonus. Its comfortable grip is great and he simple, ergonomic shape makes it easy to use.
It is not dishwasher safe, but I have no problem cleaning it especially given its simple design. Based on originality and ingenuity alone I would suggest checking it out for yourself, but it is mostly because of the quality.
