Fitbit’s latest tracker, the Inspire 3, is the perfect addition to your wrist, whether you’re a professional athlete or just starting your fitness journey.

Fitbit is one of the pre-eminent creators of all things fitness tracking, along with the likes of Garmin, Apple and Samsung. In fact, with the latter two companies focusing more on Smartwatches rather than fitness trackers (and combinations of the two), it could be said that Fitbit is the number one when it comes to tracking your fitness activity, at least in the mainstream. Fitbit’s latest gadget, the third generation of the ‘Inspire’ series, continues to allow Fitbit to sit atop the throne.

Fitbit Inspire 3 Fitness Gadgets

With a battery life of up to ten days, sleep analysis, cardio fitness score, steps, distance and calorie tracking, the swim-proof Inspire 3 does it all. For those who take their fitness super seriously, there are features like the heart rate monitor, blood oxygen analysis and cardio fitness score. For those who just want to work on creating healthy habits, the Inspire 3’s sleep score and step tracking will be more than enough. Whether you’re deep into your fitness journey or just getting started, Fitbits new Inspire 3 is a fantastic choice.

Key Features

You’ll have no problem wearing your Fitbit all day, no matter what your day looks like. We’ve all had to wear watches for extended periods of time – it’s never great. Your wrist gets sore, sweaty and irritating – not to mention the tan line. While the tan line will be a problem (but a good sign of your healthy habits!) the silicone bands of the Inspire 3 make it incredibly comfortable to wear.

Physical health is incredibly important, but it’s not the be-all and end-all. Caring for your mental health is just as important, if not more so. The Inspire 3 can help with that side of things too. Thanks to mindfulness sessions, guided breathing, a smart wake alarm and a breathing management score, you can know when your stresses occur, how to avoid them and how to overcome them through breathing and relaxation.

What’s the point of a smartwatch/fitness tracker sitting on your wrist if you have to pull your phone out of your pocket every two seconds to check your text messages, just for it to be your SO telling you that you didn’t flush the toilet properly? Fitbit agrees and allows you to check all phone, calls and texts notifications on your Inspire 3.

Drawbacks

  • The small screen of the Inspire 3 is one of the benefits for some people. However, for others, it is going to be too small. Both for aesthetic reasons, as it looks slightly stranger than something that is watch-sized, as well as hampering the ability to see and use the screen for those with bigger hands or poorer eyesight.
  • While this isn’t Inspire 3-specific, Fitbit has reduced the free trial of it’s premium subscription with new purchases from one year to six months.

Our Final Opinion on this Gadget

Fitbit makes great products. The Inspire 3 is no different.

While there are various products to choose from in Fitbits arsenal, whether you want something closer to a smartwatch, purely fitness tracking, no screen or something for your kid, Fitbit has it all. If you want a bit of everything, the Inspire 3 is your new best friend. There’s nothing not to like, other than its small screen and if you’re looking to purchase it, you’ve already seen that. Waterproof, providing good analysis across various categories and sitting beautifully on anyone’s wrist in three colours, the Inspire 3 is yet another solid fitness gadget from Fitbit.
